DNA Sequencing:

We sequence double-stranded and single-stranded templates from purified plasmids, BACs, cosmids, and PCR products. Please see our DNA Prep/Concentration page for information on DNA sample submission and concentration. Click here for a quick guide to our sequencing service.

Currently, we use two ABI 3730 Capillary Electrophoresis Genetic Analyzers for sequencing. These instruments are capable of processing approximately twelve 96-well plates in a 24-hour period. We use ABI BigDye Terminator v3.1 Cycle Sequencing chemistry which, together with our instruments, enable us to frequently achieve read lengths of 850-900+bp.

Fragment Analysis:

We also offer a run-only fragment analysis service on our ABI 3130XL Capillary Electrophoresis Genetic Analyzer. Click here for more information and instructions on starting a new project with us.
