Sample Drop-off update October 7, 2021:
UC Davis campus has opened back up again and the doors to Storer Hall are now unlocked. However, due to staffing and sample volumes, for now we are utilizing the same schedule and sample drop-off procedures in place since the start of the pandemic (see info below). One exception is that you may also drop off your samples in one of the white baskets on the wall next to the blackboard outside of the lab at 0208 Storer Hall. We will continue evaluating the schedule and hope to make changes in the near future.
We are receiving DNA sequencing samples and fragment analysis runs during specific drop-off times on specific days. Runs and turn-around time on data will vary, depending on sample volume. Current turn-around time is approximately 2-3 days.
DNA Sample Drop-Off Schedule:
Storer Hall: Mon, Wed & Fri until 12pm in the envelope taped to the front doors or in the baskets outside the lab
VM3B Annex: Mon, Wed & Fri until 11am (if you want samples set up same day) or any other day M-F during business hours
UCDMC: By request only
If this schedule does not work for you, please contact us at DNADivas@ucdavis.edu and we will arrange another time for you to drop off your samples.
