DNA Concentration Guidelines:
We recommend that you not only UV spec your samples but also run them on a gel to double check your concentrations.
PCR products: Please supply us with 2ng/uL per 100bp of PCR product. (Example: A 700bp PCR product would be submitted at 14ng/uL).
Plasmids: Because concentration measures the total amount of DNA, without accounting for the size, as the plasmid size increases so must your DNA concentration. A general guideline for double stranded plasmid templates are as follows:
