DNA Sequencing
We can sequence double-stranded and single-stranded templates from from purified plasmids, BACs, cosmids, and PCR products. Please see our template preparation page for information on DNA sample submission and concentration.
Currently, we use the ABI 3730 Capillary Electrophoresis Genetic Analyzer for sequencing. This instrument is capable of processing approximately twelve 96-well plates in a 24-hour period. We use ABI BigDye Terminator v3.1 Cycle Sequencing chemistry which, together with our new instrument, enables us to frequently achieve read lengths of 700+bp.
